Bishop White Seminary provides a pre-theology program for those seminarians who have already earned a college degree in a discipline other than philosophy or theology. These men vary in age and background and are often considering priesthood after a career in some other field.

The pre-theology program offered through Bishop White provides seminarians with spiritual, human, and pastoral formation while Gonzaga University provides the academic formation. Students in this program earn 24 credits of philosophy and 12 credits of theology.

After successful completion of the pre-theology program, candidates go on to study theology at any one of a number of Major Seminaries in the United States or Europe.
