RECTOR

Rev. Darrin Connall is a priest of the Catholic Diocese of Spokane and an alumnus of Bishop White Seminary. He holds an undergraduate degree in Religious Studies and Philosophy from Gonzaga University and he earned his graduate degree in theology from the Catholic University of America in 1992.

Fr. Connall served two years as Parochial Vicar at St. Thomas More Parish and as Pastor for six years at Immaculate Conception Parish in Colville, Washington. In 2000, Bishop William S. Skylstad appointed him as the thirteenth Rector of Bishop White Seminary. In addition to his current assignment as Rector, Fr. Connall also serves as the Director of Seminarians for the Diocese of Spokane. He is a member of the Priest Personnel Board and the Presbyteral Council for the diocese.

Fr. Connall was recently elected to a second term as President of the National Association of College Seminarians.

DIRECTOR OF SPIRITUAL FORMATION

Rev. Msgr. Robert Pearson has served as a priest in the Catholic Diocese of Spokane for 40 years. He is a former Rector of Bishop White Seminary and, since 2000, has served as one of the seminary's Spiritual Directors. In June, 2005, Bishop William S. Skylstad appointed him Director of Spiritual Formation.

Much of Msgr. Pearson's priestly ministry has been in service to his brother priests both on the local and national levels. He has worked on several projects sponsored by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops concerning priestly spirituality and education. In addition to his service at Bishop White Seminary, Msgr. Pearson serves the Catholic Diocese of Spokane as Vicar for Priests and as Director of Continuing Education for Priests.


SPIRITUAL DIRECTORS

In addition to Msgr. Pearson, there are four other priests who serve as individual Spiritual Directors for the seminarians. These priests are:

There are five priests who serve as Formation Advisors for the seminarians.

There are two in-house priest faculty members serving at Bishop White Seminary. The Rector and Director of Spiritual Formation are assisted by nine other priests who visit the seminary on a regular basis to volunteer their time as Formation Advisors and Spiritual Directors.
